Description: Southern Appalachian Wilderness Stewards (SAWS) is involved in a multi-phase project to repair flood damage on this popular trail leading to a beautiful waterfall. The present effort is to complete a crib wall to protect the trail from flood waters. The plan is to rig a high line to “fly” boulders across the river to be used on the crib side. SAWS will be on site June 26-July 3; The weekend of Jun 28-30 is TATC’s time to support this important work. A map and details will be furnished those interested. Come along & see boulders fly!
