Description - Friday July 21 - Sunday July 23 hike the Tuscarora Trail north from VA 671 to Spruce Pine Hollow Shelter in West Virginia just south of Hancock Maryland.  On Friday, drive up there (4 1/2 hours from Williamsburg) set up a shuttle and vehicles and hike from 671 north and up three miles to Shockey's Knob Shelter, roughly a 1000' gain.  On Saturday and Sunday hike approximately 12 miles each day through the West Virginia Sleepy Hollow WMA.  At the end of day on Sunday we reached Spruce Pine Hollow Shelter and our vehicles and drive home.  This backpacking and primitive camping but water should be in good supply.
