First Landing State Park Trail Maintenance Phase II Workday

What: Phase II Trail Maintenance

When: Thursday, February 22^nd

Time: Two Shifts: shift one (meet at 8:30) - 9:00 am -12:00 pm shift two – (meet at 1:00) 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm.

Location: First Landing State Park, the meeting location is at the 64th Street/Cape Henry Trail entrance at 220 64th Street.

Description: First Landing State Park Trail Maintenance Work - event being organized by Tanya Wisoker. Transport and place Crusher Run at the Marsh Bridge, Cape Henry 64th Street Extension Trail. Meet at the Narrows Parking Lot, 64th street, 1.5 miles west of guard shack, or park at the boat ramp. The worksite is about 3/4 mile east of the Narrows Parking Lot. Tools are provided, be sure to have work boots, work gloves, water/snacks, weather-appropriate clothing/head gear. Optional: bring your own shovel and steel rake. This is an event for those who can lift at least 20 pounds safely and can bend and move!
