Beach Garden Park Waterway Clean-up with TATC Amphibious Trail Crew

The Amphibious Trail Crew will join Lynnhaven River Now 9AM – Noon on Saturday, July 13 at Beach Garden Park, for the Plastic Free July Day Waterway Clean-up at Beach Garden Park.

This will be a land-and-water based clean-up, so we’re looking for both land-based volunteers to walk the banks and pick up trash and water-based volunteers who can clean up from the water. LRNow usually supplies trash bags and grabbers for picking up trash.

Land based volunteers should wear sturdy shoes/boots suitable for traipsing through wet & muddy areas. Water based volunteers must bring their own boats and paddling gear. PFDs are required and must be worn at all times while on the water.
