Description: This is one of our favorite bike rides, and despite some road construction that will slightly alter our usual route, we will do it again. There is also some ongoing rehab work on the Park bikeway, but this should not impact our ride.


Plan to meet at the Newport News Park Campsite Office parking lot for 9:00 AM registration and a 9:30 AM departure. We will ride ~ 2 miles on the gravel/packed dirt bikeway, where we'll cross into the National Park (bring your NP pass if you have one) and visit George Washington's Headquarters. The rest of the trip is on asphalt roads, where there will be some car traffic.

Lunch will be at the Yorktown Pub.  Mileage will be 20-25 miles.

Bring a bike, helmet (must be worn), water, snacks, and $ for lunch

The ride is limited to 25 participants.
